What Are Trackballs?
Trackballs are seen in many Blackberry cellphones. They are used as a way to navigate from one location to another within the cellphone menu system.
Your trackball should be replaced if:
- The trackball has gone bad or is unresponsive
- The track ball has broken off or is missing the roller ball
- The trackball is visibly broken or cracked
What Are Trackpads?
Trackpads are used as another way to navigate through the cellphone menu system. Unlike cellphone trackballs, they are mostly flat, with a few models having raised edges or indentations. This is an improved design which replaced the previously problematic design of the trackball.
Your TrackPad Should be Replaced if:
- The trackpad is loose
- The trackpad is cracked or damaged in any way
- The cellphone trackpad is not responding and sensing the movement of your touch.
What Are Cellphone Joysticks?
A cellphone joystick is a way to make gaming easier on a cellphone. It is also a term that can describe a tool used for navigation similar to the trackpad and the trackball function. A joystick needs to be replaced when it does not work properly or has visible damage.
We can take care of all these repair needs and more. We make it easy and affordable to repair a cellphone quickly. Cellphone Repair Shop offers a free cellphone trackball and trackpad diagnostic service which includes the diagnosis of what is causing the problem. This cost does not include any replacement parts or installation/service fees associated with the damaged trackball, trackpad or joystick repair.
Please note that all cellphone trackball and trackpads do not always have to be replaced or repaired. Some problems with cellphones in general are due to lose connections or other damaged parts. In order to determine the exact issue, the phone will have to be sent in to determine exact cause of the problem and how to repair it.
