Purchasing and Installation Notes:
Verizon wireless won't sell a battery for the Droid 4. Fortunately, Cellphone Repair Shop.com does, and it's OEM. Working well in my Daughter's Droid 4. rick benjamin on Apr 8, 2013
Excellent replacement battery, shipping was quicker than expected and actual replacement was simple with online instructions. Unknown on Feb 2, 2013
Fixed all my battery problems, and it made it all the way to Virginia from California in 3 days. Thanks so much. Ty Fleshkwon on Jan 21, 2013
Works as advertised. The ribbon cable on my old battery broke off (was refurbished and loose already I think). The Droid 4 won't even turn on with the battery not working and power plugged in. I plugged this battery in and it turned on. It seems to be working better than my other battery, but I have no quantifiable evidence for this. Luke on Jan 8, 2013
This battery with ribbon is the perfect replacement for the Droid 4. Took it into the Verizon repair store and they were able to put it in and get the phone working. Like other comments, I was unable to obtain this replacement battery from anyone else. This site really came through. Dorothy on Oct 20, 2012
I ordered and installed it for a friend. I can't honestly review the performance of the battery because it didn't go in my phone. But I can verify that it fit and the phone powered up. I haven't heard any complaints from my friend about it, so I assume it's as good as his old one. His old one got broke while replacing the cracked touchscreen. Ken S on Oct 18, 2012
Just like a prior reviewer, my stock battery's terminals broke off when I tried to take the battery out. Funny thing is, I knew the terminals were there, but the whole battery got ripped out when I just was trying to peel off 'void warranty' sticker! From what I had heard the battery was fortified with strong adhesive stuff, but apparently mine was not. Totally silly mistake on my part, still.
Anyway, Motorola refused to send me a replacement, and insisted I sent the phone into their service center, which I was not keen on. This was the only site I could find this battery for sale, after scouring the internet for a couple hours looking for this battery.
The battery is OEM, just like the one I broke, and has great battery life.
So glad I found this site! I'll likely be making future orders, as I instantly disassemble any new device I receive. Psilocybe 38 on Aug 20, 2012
Did you Hulk the battery out like I did without lifting the black-flap to see the ribbon was screwed down too?

Glad to have found this site. It appears I cannot get this battery ANYWHERE else. The only problem I had when ordering online was the requirement that I choose the adhesive for an extra $5-6. I don't need/want the adhesive but I wanted to ensure I got the battery since they are currently so hard to come by. Adam on Aug 14, 2012
I bought a Droid 4 that someone tried to remove the battery without unscrewing the terminals. It was impossible to repair. Ordered this battery and it was the exact fit. Appears to be OEM. Unknown on Aug 13, 2012
